The second annual Make-A-Movie Weekend will take place from Friday, July 29 to Sunday, July 31. Team up with your friends and family to make a movie together. Teams from last year will all tell you you’ll be glad you did! Everyone had huge fun.To check out last year’s films --“Movie Theater Madness,” “Dog Meets Tennis Ball” and “Camp Nature and Nurture” – search for them on You Tube. And start working on your idea.
This year’s teams will meet on Friday evening July 29 6-7 p.m. at the North Wayne Schoolhouse to kick off the event and get the “mystery prop.” Everyone will return Sunday evening July 31 at 6 p.m. to turn in movies, share experiences and enjoy potluck.
On Saturday, Aug. 6, 6-8 p.m., the teams will showcase their movies on the Schoolhouse screen. Prizes will be awarded. Everyone is a winner. Open to the public. Free.
